I really didn't want to announce it until I got the theme looking exactly like I want it, but that has proven difficult. I'm a photographer, not a web designer! I know a little CSS, but no .php. Try to focus on the photos :)<br /><a href="http://michellegarrettphotography.com"><br />http://michellegarrettphotography.com</a>Orchidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16237126883081113341noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-319289912726778547.post-40138520984367934572009-05-25T20:49:00.001-05:002009-05-25T20:50:33.076-05:00Website Under ConstructionI'm moving to a "real" website that hopefully will be more professional. It was such a beautiful day! Then we realized Kevin doesn't have two arms to control Denali, and I have a hard time when she's super excited about swimming with KC.<br /><br />So we had to settle for an easy walk behind our house and down to the park. These kids were so cute, riding their bikes and splashing through the puddles.Orchidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16237126883081113341noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-319289912726778547.post-3413549106290525792009-04-18T21:23:00.003-05:002009-04-27T09:27:27.810-05:00Big Bubble!<div style="padding: 3px; text-align: left;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/orchidphoto/3454572702/" title="photo sharing"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3410/3454572702_a917b796a6.jpg" style="border: 2px solid rgb(0, 0, 0); width: 354px; height: 284px;" alt="" /></a><br /><span style="margin-top: 0px;font-size:0;" ><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/orchidphoto/3454572702/">Big Bubble!</a>, originally uploaded by <a href="http://www.flickr.com/people/orchidphoto/">Orchid Photo</a>.</span></div><p>I thought I had such a simple idea: I'll photograph bubbles! They're shiny and rainbowy, and it'll be easy. Ha!<br /><br />I took so many bubble photos. I took them indoors, outdoors, floating in water, sitting on grass. This is one where it was floating in water on a clear platter. I put a black piece of paper underneath in hope of showing the colors and shine more.<br /><br />I think the colors came out well, especially the reflection of the window. And I got some bokeh as well!</p>Orchidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16237126883081113341noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-319289912726778547.post-81477027068658443672009-04-17T21:31:00.006-05:002009-04-17T21:44:48.660-05:00Yes, It's Flowers (Don't Judge Me)<div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDtk7bE8d-uJXiZbogov6PqzDSCkIuZS30PxN43IzvI48cU0JZVEDpz55Y6Tsi7GpVU47-6sEFYUoa6wEc76WV_Ud1g59YEArxAtIqlWor2Z2wkyMPllbqYvN7RlMTqAhrmZx8qtTTgluv/s1600-h/yellow+with+raindrops+sm.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 314px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDtk7bE8d-uJXiZbogov6PqzDSCkIuZS30PxN43IzvI48cU0JZVEDpz55Y6Tsi7GpVU47-6sEFYUoa6wEc76WV_Ud1g59YEArxAtIqlWor2Z2wkyMPllbqYvN7RlMTqAhrmZx8qtTTgluv/s400/yellow+with+raindrops+sm.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5325855904778056898" border="0" /></a>Yellow with Raindrops<br /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzm9rVY2MbmVy6RfGKuj6EaVHJIFEb5qDAJNQVnvOK2u4Zm1UAQn5ftGtDYc-BZres2TdZ_-vBp-WY7WXEXdeyaC_8ZqgfJ6zieQ-rW7bepYxfSxYX_uui8qqLaKj_xWPXpDdsQXrX3zj9/s1600-h/petals+on+rocks+sm.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzm9rVY2MbmVy6RfGKuj6EaVHJIFEb5qDAJNQVnvOK2u4Zm1UAQn5ftGtDYc-BZres2TdZ_-vBp-WY7WXEXdeyaC_8ZqgfJ6zieQ-rW7bepYxfSxYX_uui8qqLaKj_xWPXpDdsQXrX3zj9/s400/petals+on+rocks+sm.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5325855732226740258" border="0" /></a>Petals on Rocks<br /><br /></div>I can't resist posting these photos of the flowers in my mom's long stem rose garden.
